List of cultural assets in Kiesen

The list of cultural assets in Kiesen contains all objects in the municipality of Kiesen in the canton of Bern that are subject to the Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict , the Federal Act of June 20, 2014 on the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict, and the Ordinance of June 29 , 2014 October 2014 on the protection of cultural property in the event of armed conflict .

Objects in categories A and B are completely included in the list, objects in category C are currently missing (as of January 1, 2018). Among other monuments protected objects are found, the "worthy of protection" in the canton of Bern Bauinventar than are listed.

The farmhouse , built around 1790, is a three-story half - timbered building over a massive base. It has a Gerschild roof and a wide ridge with an arbor . The stately building has several extensions on the north and east sides and stands on the eaves facing Bernstrasse at the entrance to the castle.

The castle , built in 1668, was originally late Gothic and received its current late baroque shape with the renovation in 1778 . The castle is embedded between the castle courtyard and the gardens and looks out over the village from its elevated position.
