List of cultural assets in Jegenstorf

The list of cultural assets in Jegenstorf contains all objects in the municipality of Jegenstorf in the canton of Bern that are subject to the Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict , the Federal Act of June 20, 2014 on the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict and the Ordinance of 29 June 2014 October 2014 on the protection of cultural property in the event of armed conflict .

Objects in category A are fully included in the list, objects in category B are not shown in the municipality, objects in category C are currently missing (as of January 1, 2018). Among other monuments protected objects are found, the "worthy of protection" in the canton of Bern Bauinventar than are listed.

Church building in late Gothic style, erected in 1515 , the front tower comes from a previous building. The hall church with a retracted, polygonal closing three- eighth choir under a continuous saddle roof has pointed arched tracery windows and bar-profile door frames with Louis- Seize door leaves and skylights . The stained glass of the 16./17. Century.

six hundred and five thousand three hundred and ninety-four  /  210758
1720 on behalf of Albrecht Friedrich von Erlach built castle in baroque style with core of the 12th century. The towering medieval keep including extensions from the 15th / 16th centuries. In the 19th century, three more towers were added to form a symmetrizing four-wing complex trimmed on all sides. The complex, which is now used as a museum, is surrounded by an English landscape garden.
