List of cultural assets in Münsingen

The list of cultural assets in Münsingen contains all objects in the municipality of Münsingen in the canton of Bern that are subject to the Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict , the Federal Act of June 20, 2014 on the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflicts and the Ordinance of June 29 , 2014 October 2014 on the protection of cultural property in the event of armed conflict .

Objects in categories A and B are completely included in the list, objects in category C are currently missing (as of January 1, 2018). Among other monuments protected objects are found, the "worthy of protection" in the canton of Bern Bauinventar than are listed.

The rectory built in 1766 goes back to a core building from 1489. Important, plastered three-storey solid building with an unusually high and steep baroque full hipped roof . The corner pilasters as well as the door and window reveals are made of sandstone . There is a single-storey peristyle extension on the north and east façades, and an economic wing extends to the west .

A factory built by Fritz Haller in 1963 using a modular system developed specifically for this purpose, which is intended to meet the demands of a building in terms of flexible expansion outside and versatility inside. The flat roof building No. 53 was expanded in several stages (1971, 1979, 1987), the company building No. 57 was added in 1991, the office pavilion No. 55 was built in 1964 as a module with half the support spacing. There is an iron sculpture by Oscar Wiggli on the site .

The main building of the psychiatric clinic, built between 1892 and 1895 according to plans by Paul Adolphe Tièche . Extraordinarily powerful, symmetrical three-wing system in exposed brick with a lively structure of the individual buildings through strong risalits and a multi-part roof landscape. The castle-like building, committed to historicism , has a 166 m long, richly decorated main front that is exposed to the southeast.

The oil mill on the Grabenbach, built at the end of the 17th century, renovated in 1983 and now used as a museum with functional facilities. Solid stand construction under a bent quarter-hipped roof with a living area in the northwest and an oil press and water wheel in front in the southeast. A mighty, transversely attached economic section from 1810 towers over the original building.

The inn, built in 1579 with various recent conversions and additions, is one of the oldest inns in the canton. While the core structure is designed as a post construction, the extension to the south presents itself with massive infills, the extensions to the east in solid construction. The parts are summarized by a bent hipped roof made of beaver-tail tiles .

In 1941 the remains of a Roman bathhouse from around AD 200, which belonged to a larger estate , were discovered. Part of the mosaic floor of the warm or sweat bath, each four meters long and four meters wide, including the hypocaust has been preserved . The paintings depict fish and the head of the deity Okeanos . In addition, there are wall fragments of the manor house and the farm buildings.

At the core of the 12th century originating and 1550 on behalf of Hans Franz Naegeli developed castle , now used as a local museum. Large-scale, plastered building complex with an almost semicircular floor plan, under a mighty hipped roof . The site-defining system stands in a prominent, slightly elevated position on a hilltop.

The manor house of an early modern manor , built around 1790, is a broad, seven-axis solid building over two vaulted cellars, covered with a kinked full hipped roof . The front entrance consists of a Tuscan giant order with incorporated porch, the front garden is Haustein - risalits awarded in the central axis and a balcony.
