List of cultural assets in Oberbalm

The list of cultural assets in Oberbalm contains all objects in the municipality of Oberbalm in the canton of Bern that are subject to the Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict , the Federal Act of June 20, 2014 on the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflicts and the Ordinance of June 29 , 2014 October 2014 on the protection of cultural property in the event of armed conflict .

Objects in categories A and B are completely included in the list, objects in category C are currently missing (as of January 1, 2018). Among other monuments protected objects are found, the "worthy of protection" in the canton of Bern Bauinventar than are listed.

Storage facility built in 1782 , moved a few meters during the renovation in 2008. The plank stand construction is of the best craftsmanship and artistic quality and has rich text and ornamental paintings on fret beams, purlins and plank walls. The paintings are attributed to the painter Christian Megert from Wattenwil.

The farmhouse , built in 1783, is a stately building, the brick ground floor of which is heavily structured with sandstone . Above it rises an equally well structured framework . The imposing round is conspicuously decorated on the underside with paintings depicting an artillery battle. In addition, there is the Rolli family's coat of arms in the crown (the client was a high-ranking officer).

This storage facility , built in 1763, is a harmoniously designed frame structure with four-sided arcades on the upper floor and laterally profiled arcade posts. Rich decoration with inscriptions and flat carvings in red and black colors.

The church building goes back to a pilgrimage chapel from the 12th century. The Romanesque nave dates from this time , while the choir and church tower were built between 1517 and 1527. In 1790/91 the building was redesigned in late baroque style. The building group also includes the rectory , built in 1839 , a stately classical plastered building with strong sandstone structures and a hipped roof .
