List of cultural assets in Gerzensee

The list of cultural assets in Gerzensee contains all objects in the municipality of Gerzensee in the canton of Bern that are subject to the Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict , the Federal Act of June 20, 2014 on the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflicts and the Ordinance of June 29 , 2014 October 2014 on the protection of cultural property in the event of armed conflict .

Objects in categories A and B are completely included in the list, objects in category C are currently missing (as of January 1, 2018). Among other monuments protected objects are found, the "worthy of protection" in the canton of Bern Bauinventar than are listed.

1905 built, from historicism embossed farmhouse with Art Nouveau -Wohnteil in the form of an English country house. The building has two sturdy brick floors, the second floor and the attic are half- timbered. A continuous arbor runs around the whole house . A paved courtyard and a picturesque park surround the stately building.

Castle built in 1518 for Jacob von Wattenwyl on the remains of a medieval fortification . The late Gothic main building with a high hipped roof has remarkable Mauresque frames for the cellar windows. On the west side is an extension from 1772 with a Louis- Seize festival hall.

Castle built for Samuel Morlot around 1700 , used as a training center for the Swiss National Bank since 1986 . The original two-storey main building was increased by one floor in 1863 and received a steep, hipped roof in 1940 . The oldest component is the eastern inner wing, the western inner wing dates from 1718, the western outer wing from 1738.
