List of cultural assets in Münchenbuchsee

The list of cultural assets in Münchenbuchsee contains all objects in the municipality of Münchenbuchsee in the canton of Bern that are subject to the Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict , the Federal Act of June 20, 2014 on the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflicts and the Ordinance of June 29 , 2014 October 2014 on the protection of cultural property in the event of armed conflict .

Objects in categories A and B are completely included in the list, objects in category C are currently missing (as of January 1, 2018). Among other monuments protected objects are found, the "worthy of protection" in the canton of Bern Bauinventar than are listed.

In the years 1817 to 1821 as a scientist. Educational institution built, used as a seminar building since 1884. Long, three-story, massive building under a hipped roof in the classicist style with individual elements of the Bernese late baroque . On the long sides slightly protruding central projections with gable, on the west side with a balcony on two columns over two-armed flight of stairs for the main entrance.

In the first quarter of the 19th century, a circular bathing complex with a stepped basin surround. On the east side there is a neo-Gothic peristyle with a pointed arch arcade that follows the edge of the pool in its curved floor plan. The last two arch fields are closed off with board cladding to form changing rooms, but have windows in the shape of a pointed arch.

Castle built between late baroque and early classicism on behalf of Gabriel Albrecht von Erlach from 1784 to 1786 . Solid construction with a high ground floor, low ground floor and distinctive cornices . In 1799 Philipp Emanuel von Fellenberg added a flight of stairs and a peristyle . Small dormer windows , fireplaces, First vases and a roof turret revive the bruised hip roof .

The commander of the Order of St. John was built around 1180 and was used as an office building after the renovation in 1540, and is now a rectory . Plastered solid building with hipped roof and coupling windows with walls made of sandstone. On the west side there is a two-armed flight of stairs under a monopitch roof , which connects to the roof of the extension from 1617.

First mentioned in 1180 and rebuilt in the second half of the 13th century, with several extensions from the 16th to the 20th century. The largely independent, wider, higher and longer choir with a polygonal finish connects to the older, hall-shaped nave . The interior is dominated by the pointed triumphal arch and the culturally and historically significant glass painting cycle from around 1280 to 1295.

From 1600 to 1603 as the seat of the Bernese bailiff built castle in nachgotischen style. Plastered solid construction of great historical importance with a steep quarter-hipped roof and building edges with toothed corner cuboids. A stair tower with a pointed, octagonal roof spire stands on the south-facing courtyard facade . Inside there is a baroque ceiling painting.
