List of cultural assets in Rubigen

The list of cultural assets in Rubigen contains all objects in the municipality of Rubigen in the canton of Bern that are subject to the Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict , the Federal Act of June 20, 2014 on the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflicts and the Ordinance of June 29 , 2014 October 2014 on the protection of cultural property in the event of armed conflict .

Objects of category A are not shown in the municipality, objects of category B are fully included in the list, objects of category C are currently missing (as of January 1, 2018). Among other monuments objects are found, the "worthy of protection" in the canton of Bern Bauinventar than are listed.

Church building dating back to the first half of the 10th century, built over a previous church from the 8th century. Cross-shaped hall church with trapezoidal nave , slightly retracted apse with two side annexes and roof turrets . It is the only pre- Romanesque apse hall preserved in Switzerland and is the place of activity of the reformer Jörg Brunner . Inside there are also late Gothic elements from 1438 to 1441, including remains of wall paintings.

Campagne built in the baroque style in 1728 on behalf of the Bernese salt director Anton Rodt-Kirchberger . Solid construction with a high, bent full hipped roof and small gable dome . An entrance portico with square pillars and a painted ceiling is incorporated on the north-west side . The building has corner pilasters and high windows, the entrance front is framed by oeil-de-boeuf windows.
