List of cultural assets in Ittigen

The list of cultural assets in Ittigen contains all objects in the municipality of Ittigen in the canton of Bern that are subject to the Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict , the Federal Act of June 20, 2014 on the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflicts and the Ordinance of June 29 , 2014 October 2014 on the protection of cultural property in the event of armed conflict .

Objects in categories A and B are completely included in the list, objects in category C are currently missing (as of January 1, 2018). Among other monuments protected objects are found, the "worthy of protection" in the canton of Bern Bauinventar than are listed.

Gosteli Foundation, archive on the history of the Swiss women's movement

The foundation founded in 1982 by the women's rights activist Marthe Gosteli collects sources on the history of Swiss women and preserves the archives of women's organizations and individual women. it maintains a specialist library, a large collection of brochures and a collection of biographical notes. The archive is considered the historical memory of the Swiss women's movement.

Campagne built by Samuel Jenner between 1694 and 1699 . Representative solid construction under a bent quarter-hipped roof with sandstone structure and interlocked corner pilasters and a stair tower on the north side. The building complex also includes the furnace house with storage from the last quarter of the 17th century, the utility building from the second half of the 17th century and the former pigsty from the first half of the 18th century.

Factory built in 1924/25 for the production of nitrocellulose . The terraced reinforced concrete building under slightly inclined concrete roofs with skylights has a centrally placed access axis with an inclined lift for the transport of goods. Attached to this is a tower-like structure, which tense breaks through the tiered complex.

Basically a medieval hammer forge , largely renewed after a fire in 1871. Angular gable roof construction with massive main floors and a mezzanine in post construction . The Sandhof, built around 1730/40, is on the same site. The main floors of this high -quality baroque building with a bent third-hip roof are plastered and structured with corner pilasters and heavily framed arched openings . The stone carving and wrought iron work are also remarkable.
