List of castles and palaces in Hamburg
There are several palaces and fortresses in the area of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg . These buildings, some of which can look back on centuries of history, were the scene of historical events and the workplaces of well-known personalities. They are often impressive buildings to this day. Ornamental and replicas that were never used as residential buildings or for defense are not listed .
