Liu Qibao ( Chinese  刘奇 葆 ; born January 1953 in Susong , Anhui Province ) is a Chinese politician of the Communist Party of China (CCP) who is a member of the Political Bureau of the CCP Central Committee . In addition, he acts as the head of the Central Committee's department for propaganda and director of the Central Committee's steering group for the reform and development of the cultural system.

Life

Liu Qibao joined the CCP in 1971, studied history at Anhui University between 1972 and 1974, and then worked in the theoretical research staff of the CPC Committee of Anhui Provincial Public Relations Department from 1974 to 1977. During this time, he graduated from Jilin University with a graduate degree in the National Economic Program and Management in 1975 and was then secretary of the Communist Youth Association of China (KJVC) to the Communist Party of China 's Secretary of Anhui Province, Wan Li, from 1977 to 1982 . In addition, he was first deputy head from 1980 to 1982 and then from 1982 to 1983 head of the public relations department of the KJVC in Anhui Province. During this time he was also a member of the Communist Party Committee from 2007 to 2012 and a member of the Standing Committee of the Communist Party Committee of Sichuan Province between 2007 and 2008 and also chairman of the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of Sichuan Province from 2008 to 2012.
