Luka Cindrić (born July 5, 1993 in Ogulin , Croatia ) is a Croatian handball player . Cindrić is mostly used on the back center .
The 1.85 m tall and 90 kg heavy right-hander made his debut in 2012 with HRK Karlovac in the Croatian Premijer Liga and took part in the EHF Challenge Cup 2013/14. In his first season 2012/13 he scored 243 goals in 33 games (38 of them by seven meters ) and was the top scorer. In his second season he was successful in 15 games 131 (31) times. In January 2014 he moved to the Macedonian club RK Metalurg Skopje , with whom he reached the quarter-finals in the EHF Champions League 2013/14 and won the Macedonian championship in 2014. For the 2015/16 season he moved to RK Vardar Skopje . In 2016 and 2017 he won the Macedonian Cup, in 2016 and 2017 the championship and in 2017 the EHF Champions League. In the 2018/19 season, Cindrić played for the Polish club KS Kielce , with whom he won the Polish championship and the Polish cup. In the summer of 2019 he moved to the Spanish first division club FC Barcelona . With Barcelona he won the Spanish championship in 2020.
With the Croatian junior selection, Luka Cindrić finished fourth at the U-21 World Cup in 2013 . Cindrić made his debut in the Croatian national team on April 5, 2014 against Sweden . So far, he has played 59 international matches in which he scored 139 goals.
