The Marrakech E-Prix is an automobile race of the FIA Formula E Championship in Marrakech , Morocco . It was held for the first time on November 12, 2016 as part of the FIA Formula E Championship 2016/17 .
history
The first Marrakech E-Prix took place as part of the UN climate conference in Marrakech 2016 on the Circuit International Automobile Moulay el Hassan . Sébastien Buemi won the first race ahead of Sam Bird and Felix Rosenqvist .
All three pilots stood on the podium again in the second race , this time Rosenqvist won ahead of Buemi and Bird.
In 2019 , Jérôme D'Ambrosio won ahead of Robin Frijns and Bird, who achieved his third podium result in the third race.
