Mathis Reinhardt

Mathis Reinhardt (* 1978 in Filderstadt ) is a German actor .

Life

Mathis Reinhardt grew up in Bavaria . From 2003 to 2007 he completed his acting studies at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg . During his training, he already appeared at the Landestheater Salzburg (as Sebastian in Was ihr wollt ) and at the Salzburg Festival (2005/06 in the opera Die Zauberflöte ). His first permanent engagement after his training was at the Deutsches Theater Berlin (2007–2009).

This was followed by further positions at the Schauspiel Frankfurt (2009–2013), at the Schauspiel Leipzig (2013–2016) and at the Staatsschauspiel Dresden (2016–2017).

His stage roles included u. a. John in Baal (Deutsches Theater, directed by Christoph Mehler ), Erich Spitta in Michael Thalheimer's also the Berlin Theater Meeting invited staging of Captain Rats (Deutsches Theater, Premiere 2007/08 season), Besdomny in The Master and Margarita (Schauspielfrankfurt, Director : Markus Bothe ), Narraboth in Salome (Schauspiel Frankfurt, director: Günter Krämer ), Ernst Ludwig in the Musical Cabaret (Schauspiel Frankfurt, director: Michael Simon ), Wagner in Faust I (Schauspiel Frankfurt, director: Stefan Pucher ), Romeo in Romeo and Julia (Schauspiel Frankfurt, director: Bettina Bruinier ), Truffaldino in The Servant of Two Lords (Schauspiel Frankfurt, director: Andreas Kriegenburg ), Konstantin Gavrilovič Treplev (Kostja) in Die Möwe (Schauspiel Frankfurt, director: Andreas Kriegenburg) and Jago in Othello (Drama Leipzig, director: Christoph Mehler).

In the 2011/12 season he embodied the gay blonde Lola in Jorinde Drose's production The Blue Angel (based on motifs by Heinrich Mann and Josef von Sternberg ) at the Schauspiel Frankfurt , which he created as a "melancholy fallen angel". In the 2016/17 season he played the Jewish-Orthodox Torah teacher Mendel Singer in Job at the Dresden State Theater (director: Nurkan Erpulat ). In the new production of Federico García Lorca's play Yerma , directed by Andreas Kriegenburg , he played the shepherd Victor in the 2017/18 season at the Dresden State Theater .

Reinhardt also works occasionally in film and television. He worked there a. a. with the directors Richard Blank , Giulio Ricciarelli , Claudia Garde and Hans-Christoph Blumenberg . In the ARD television film The Reconciliation (2008) he played alongside Sebastian Bezzel .

He had episode roles a. a. in the series In the Name of the Law (2008), A Case for Two (2012, at the side of Markus Boysen ), SOKO Wismar (2014, as activist Theo Barner, who campaigns against the surveillance of the forest by cameras, with Peter Kurth as partner) and Alles Klara (2017, as suspect sausage stand owner Lukas Bückler).

In December 2017 Reinhardt was seen in the ZDF crime series SOKO Wismar in a leading role as waiter and desperate husband Sven Büttner, who is the focus of police investigations. In January 2018, he was then seen in the ARD television series In allerfreund - The young doctors again in an episode lead role; he played Mario Dörries, who was admitted to the clinic seriously injured after a serious motorcycle accident together with his best friend ( Dominic Boeer ).

His hobbies include mountaineering , climbing and mountain biking . Mathis Reinhardt lives in Leipzig .
