The 2015/16 season was the 26th season of the Meistriliiga , the highest Estonian ice hockey division . The championship was won by record champions Narva PSK for the 17th time in the club's history. It was the first title win after a 15-year break.

While the team of HC Viking Tallinn was still suspended, Tartu Kalev-Välk did not take part in the league this season. So the masters of the last five years were missing. Instead, the Estonian U20 selection , which competed under the name Eesti Noortekoondis , was included again in the Meistriliiga for the first time since the 2008/09 season . In the season, which this time was played without a playoff, the three remaining senior teams completed six games each against the other two teams and two games each against the youth team. Each team received three points for a win after regular time, two points for a win after overtime, one point for a defeat after overtime and zero points for a defeat after regular time.
