Moose Jaw Standard

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Moose Jaw Standard was a Canadian car brand.

Brand history

A group of citizens of Moose Jaw banded together in 1916, hired an engineer, bought a factory, and bought parts from the United States to make 25 automobiles . However, it is unclear whether they started a business. They made five vehicles. After that, they sold the superfluous parts, paid off the engineer, and abandoned the project. One of the vehicles still exists.

According to a source, there was no connection with Canadian Standard Auto & Tractor of the same town, which manufactured automobiles with four-cylinder engines between 1912 and 1914 .

vehicles

The only model was a luxury automobile. The vehicles were powered by a six-cylinder engine from Continental .
