Marathon Electric Vehicles Inc. was a Canadian manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
The company from the Montreal district of Saint-Léonard began producing golf carts in 1969 . Passenger cars were added in 1976 . The brand name was Marathon . Production ended in 1981.
Car
The only model was the C-300 . The base was a tubular steel frame . An open two-seater body was mounted on it, which consisted of either fiberglass or steel. It looked like the jeep . The vehicles were powered by an electric motor with an output of 8 hp . The range was given as 80 km.
There was also a commercial vehicle with six wheels in the range.
