Matthew Guy Carriage & Automobile Co. was a Canadian company in the automotive industry .

Company history

The company was based in Oshawa . It manufactured carriages and hearses for more than 50 years . Motor vehicles were also built in 1911 . The brand name was Guy .

Motor vehicles

The only car model was a conventional touring car , which was presented at an exhibition in Toronto in 1911 . Its four-cylinder engine developed 30  hp . Some vehicles were created from this.

A planned truck with a tonne payload may never have been completed.
