Aurora Cars was a Canadian manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The Richmond Hill company began manufacturing automobiles and kit cars in 1977 . The brand name was Aurora . Production ended around 1980 or around 1988, depending on the source.

vehicles

The only model was a replica of the narrow version 289 of the AC Cobra. A spaceframe frame formed the basis. An open two-seater body made of fiberglass was mounted on top. A V8 engine from Ford with a capacity of 5000 cm³ propelled the vehicles. Four-speed, five-speed transmissions and automatic transmissions were available.
