NGC 2813 is a lenticular galaxy of Hubble type S0 in the constellation Cancer on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 388 million light years from the Milky Way and about 150,000 light years in diameter.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 2807 , NGC 2809 , NGC 2812 , IC 2457 .
The object was discovered on February 17, 1865 by the astronomer Albert Marth .
