NGC 3702 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sa in the constellation cup at the southern sky . It is an estimated 292 million light years from the Milky Way and about 115,000 light years in diameter .
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 3688 , NGC 3703 , IC 2910 .
The property was discovered by Francis Preserved Leavenworth in 1886 .
