NGC 3694 is an elliptical galaxy of Hubble type E2 in the constellation Ursa Major at the northern sky . It is estimated to be 100 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 30,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky there are u. a. the galaxies NGC 3695 and NGC 3700 .
The object was discovered by John Herschel on March 11, 1831 .
