NGC 3674 is a lens-shaped galaxy of the Hubble-type S0 in the constellation Great Bear in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 95 million light years from the Milky Way and about 45,000 light years across. Together with four other galaxies, it is a member of the NGC 3642 group ( LGG 234 )

The object was discovered by Wilhelm Herschel on April 8, 1793 .
