NGC 3669 is a barred spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBcd in the constellation Great Bear in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 90 million light-years from the Milky Way and about 50,000 light-years across. Together with three other galaxies, it is a member of the NGC 3613 group ( LGG 232 ).
The galaxy NGC 3674 is located in the same area of the sky .
The object was discovered by William Herschel on March 18, 1790 .
