NGC 3665 is a lenticular  radio galaxy of the Hubble type S0 in the constellation Great Bear in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 93 million light years from the Milky Way and about 115,000 light years across. 
Together with NGC 3648 , NGC 3652 , NGC 3658 , PGC 35039 , PGC 35080 and PGC 35124 , it forms the NGC 3665 galaxy group .
The Type Ia supernova SN 2002hl was observed here.
The object was discovered by William Herschel on March 23, 1789 .
