NGC 3641 is an elliptical galaxy from the Hubble type E0 in Leo on the ecliptic . It is an estimated 74 million light years away from the Milky Way and about 20,000 light years across. Together with six other galaxies, it is a member of the NGC 3640 group ( LGG 233 ).
In the same area of the sky is u. a. the galaxy NGC 3630 , NGC 3640 , NGC 3643 , NGC 3647 .
The object was discovered by Albert Marth on March 22, 1865 .
