NGC 4824

NGC 4824 is a roughly 15 mag bright star in the constellation Haar der Berenike ( right ascension : 12: 56: 36.2; declination : +27: 26: 01). On April 19, 1885, Guillaume Bigourdan mistakenly mistook it for a galaxy during an observation and thus gained an entry in the catalog.
