NGC 4844

NGC 4844 is a roughly 15 mag bright star in the constellation of Virgo ( right ascension : 12: 58: 08.4; declination : -13: 04: 46). On April 19, 1882, when Ernst Wilhelm Leberecht Tempel observed it, it was mistaken for a galaxy and thus got an entry in the catalog.
