NGC 4805
NGC 4805 is a roughly 15 mag bright star in the constellation Haar der Berenike ( right ascension : 12: 55: 24.3; declination : +27: 58: 49). On March 11, 1885 Guillaume Bigourdan mistakenly mistook it for a galaxy during an observation (note: "... near it is a star 13.4-13.5, but it's impossible to tell which direction it is from the nebula's center") and thus achieved an entry in the catalog.
