NGC 4782 is a 11.7 likes bright elliptical galaxy from the Hubble type E in the constellation Raven and about 202 million light-years from the Milky Way center.

It was discovered on March 27, 1786 by Wilhelm Herschel with an 18.7-inch reflector telescope, who described it as "pretty faint, pretty small, round, much brighter in the middle, preceding of double nebula".
