NGC 5802 is a lenticular galaxy of the Hubble type S0 in the constellation Libra on the ecliptic . It is around 350 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 130,000 light years . Together with NGC 5801 and NGC 5803, it forms an interactive trio.
The object was discovered on June 10, 1885 by Francis Leavenworth .
