Nadiya Oleksandriwna Bjelowa ( Russian Надежда Александровна Белова / Nadezhda Alexandrovna "Nadja" Belova , also Надя Белова , Ukrainian Надія Олександрівна Бєлова and Надія Білльова * 2 September 1961 in Bolshevik , in Hola Prystan Raion of Kherson Oblast in the former Soviet Union ) is a former Soviet- Ukrainian biathlete .
Nadeschda Belowa started biathlon in 1981. She was also an active track cyclist until 1983 . At the second women's biathlon world championships in 1985 in Egg am Etzel , she was seventh and eighth in the individual sprint. She played her most successful world championship in 1986 in Falun . Belowa won together with Kaija Parve and Wenera Tschernyschowa gold in the relay race, silver in the sprint behind Parve and narrowly missed a third medal in the individual as fourth. The 1987 World Championship in Lake Placid also brought a good result with eighth place in the sprint. After the dissolution of the Soviet Union , Belowa started for Ukraine. At the Biathlon World Championships in Borovets in 1993 , she finished sixth with the Ukrainian relay. The last major event was the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer , where she competed in her only Olympic race and was 13th in the individual. That season she finished 16th in the overall ranking of the World Cup.
From 1992 to 2002 Belowa was assistant coach of the Ukrainian biathlon team and responsible for the women's team, from 2002 coach of the Polish national women's team. In 1989 she married her former coach Roman Bondaruk , who after working in the Ukraine trained the Polish team together with Belowa and was responsible for the men in the senior squad. This made them the only couple coaching a biathlon association with responsibility for the A-squad. Out of season, the couple lives in Kiev , Belovea previously lived in Sumy . Belowa and Bondaruk have a daughter and a son who is a successful marksman .
