Life
The daughter of the colored GI Owen Hopkins and his wife Gwen grew up as a toddler in Worms before moving with her family to Saudi Arabia and spending the next five years there. Back in the States, she followed her parents to the military bases in Texas (including El Paso ) and Oklahoma . Always very athletic, Natascha achieved championship honors as a gymnast in the USA. At the beginning of the new millennium, she decided to go to film and initially performed appearances as an extra. After watching stuntmen at work, she quickly became enthusiastic about the profession.
In just six months, Natascha Hopkins received all-round training as a stunt woman. Her first highly challenging work was to be the action film Smokin 'Aces . Natascha Hopkins stepped in as a film double in action sequences for actresses such as Dana Davis , Halle Berry and Zoë Kravitz (in their latest film After Earth ). In addition to the cinema, television also became more and more important for the popular stunt woman. Regular Hopkins stunts can be seen in series like The Shield - Law of Violence , Raven Looks Through , Veronica Mars , Fashion House, Wicked Wicked Games, American Heiress and Heroes . She performed sporadically in individual episodes of Without a Trace , Boston Legal , CSI: On the trail of the perpetrators , Castle , Californication , Private Practice , Southland , Sons of Anarchy , Ghost Whisperer - Voices from the Beyond , Numbers - Die Logic of Crime , Vampire Diaries , Dollhouse , Emergency Room - The Emergency Room and CSI: Miami .
The most important movies with Hopkins stunts include the two episodes of the Transformers series and Spider-Man 3 . Again and again Natascha Hopkins appeared in front of the camera as an actress in small, consistently high athletic roles. She is best remembered for the part of Vixen in The Department Store Cop . There she played a member of a gang of gangsters raiding a mall on a large scale who was knocked out by the ventilation system that crashed due to the weight of Kevin James .
Natascha Hopkins owns her own fashion label in Hollywood with the clothing company Capo Nata, which specializes in sports and fitness outfits . The stunt woman has an older sister named Sherry (married Gonzales).
