Nike Wessel

Nike Wessel (born November 11, 1981 in Berlin ) was the spokeswoman for the Green Youth , the youth organization of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen , from May 2005 to May 2006 .

Wessel made her Abitur in 2001 at the Wilma-Rudolph-Oberschule, where she worked as head girl for seven years. She was a member of the state board of the Greens in Berlin, employee in the Bundestag office of Renate Künast , an intern in the European Parliament in Brussels and the "Zeit" correspondent in Paris. On May 8, 2005 , she was elected spokesperson at the Federal Green Youth Congress in Erfurt . For training reasons, she resigned at the Federal Congress in May 2006, her successor was Paula Riester . From 2002 she studied literature , history and art history at the Free University of Berlin . In 2009, Wessel and a partner founded a production company for WebTV . She also works as a trainer in further education.

Wessel is the mother of two children.
