Ines Eichmüller (born May 1, 1980 in Nürnberger Land ) is a German politician.

Life

During her school days, Eichmüller u. a. Student representative at her school, where she coordinated the Solar Working Group. In 1996 he was awarded the environmental prize of the city of Nuremberg for the project to install a photovoltaic system on the roof of the school building. She graduated from high school in Nuremberg in 2000 . She was a student (political science in the main subject, sociology and pedagogy in the minor subjects), awarded the “Young Women in Public Affairs Award” from the Nuremberg women's club Zonta . She was a member of the student convention of the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg . She is active in the “European Young Decision Makers” initiative of the Inter-European Forum on Population and Development on the subject of sexual and reproductive rights and health. In the Bavarian state parliament she was an employee of the gender equality spokeswoman for the Greens, Claudia Stamm .

Eichmüller is married to Tessa Ganserer and together they have two sons.

Ines Eichmüller is a founding member of the Bavarian Green Youth , the youth organization of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen . In the years 1999-2000 she was active at the state level with the Green Youth Bavaria. From 1998 to 2000 she was the spokesperson for the Bavarian regional association, after which she coordinated the specialist forum for equality. From March 2003 to May 2005 she was the federal spokeswoman for the Green Youth. From 2000 to 2002 she was district chairwoman of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen in Nuremberg . From 2004 to 2010 she was a member of the Presidium of the Federal Women's Council of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen. After 2009 she was spokeswoman for the Gostenhof local association of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen.

The thematic priorities of her political work are gender mainstreaming / gender equality , environmental policy and the commitment to human rights and peace . Since 2013 she has been organizing the OBR event against violence against women and girls in Nuremberg on a voluntary basis.
