Kathrin Henneberger

Kathrin Henneberger (born April 1, 1987 in Cologne ) is a German politician and activist and from May 2008 to October 2009 was the spokeswoman for the Green Youth , the youth organization of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen . From 2018 to 2020, Henneberger was press spokeswoman for the Climate Alliance at Endegebiet . She currently works as a project coordinator for international climate justice for the Institute of Environmental Justice eV

Life

After graduating from the integrated comprehensive school Rodenkirchen in 2006, she completed internships at an environmental protection station in southern France and at Bärbel Höhn in the German Bundestag , for which she later worked as a student assistant during her geography studies from 2008–2012 at the Free University of Berlin . Since 2014 she has been writing regularly as an author on climate and energy policy topics for the online magazine Klimareporter and has published articles in Freitag , Frankfurter Rundschau and other media. She worked as a project manager for the video lecture project Ecapio . In 2017 she co-founded the Institute of Environmental Justice eV association for development cooperation with a focus on climate protection and adaptation measures.

politics

Since the beginning of 2003 Henneberger has been a member of the Green Youth and since 2004 a member of the Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen party. In November 2007 she was elected as an assessor on the federal board of the Green Youth and on May 25, 2008 as the association's spokeswoman. At the 33rd Federal Congress on October 18, 2009, she did not run again.
