Stephan Schilling (born November 25, 1982 in Lüneburg ) is a German politician and former spokesman for the Green Youth , the youth organization of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen .

Act

Schilling has been a member of Attac's coordination group and a financial expert for the movement since November 2007 . He was also office manager in the federal executive office Claudia Roth and an employee of the green member of the Bundestag Frithjof Schmidt. Stephan Schilling has been Jürgen Trittin's office manager since January 2012 .

Schilling graduated from high school in Duderstadt in 2002 and has been studying economics at the Free University of Berlin since October 2003 . From 2001 to 2002 he was a member of the state board of the Green Youth of Lower Saxony , from April 2002 as state treasurer. From 2002 to 2004 he was treasurer of the Federal Association of Green Youth. From 2004 to 2006 Schilling was the spokesman for the youth organization. Schilling is assigned to the left wing of his party.

At the state party conference of the Lower Saxony Greens, Schilling missed a place on a promising list position for the 2005 Bundestag election and was finally elected to 8th place on the state list by the delegates. Together with Sven Giegold , Gerhard Schick and others, he developed the Green New Deal , which was decided at the 2008 federal party conference in Erfurt.
