Max Löffler (born January 24, 1988 in Halle (Saale) ) is a German politician and was spokesman for the Green Youth from 2008 to 2010 and spokesman for the Federal Working Group on Economy and Finances of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen from 2013 to 2017.

Life

Spoonbill lives in Cologne and studied since 2006 Economics . In May 2012, he completed his studies with a degree in economics. From December 2012 to July 2018 he worked as a research assistant at the University of Cologne with stays at the Research Institute for the Future of Work in Bonn and at the Center for European Economic Research in Mannheim. His main focus is on public finance and applied microeconometrics. In summer 2018 he was promoted to Dr. rer. pole. PhD.

politics

Löffler came to the Green Youth in spring 2003 through an anti-Iraq war demonstration. He was a co-founder of the Green Youth Troisdorf / Niederkassel and was on the advisory board of the Green Youth North Rhine-Westphalia from July 2004 to August 2005, a networking committee between grassroots groups and the state executive . From August 2005 to November 2006 Löffler was treasurer of the Green Youth North Rhine-Westphalia, from 2006 to 2008 its spokesman. At the Federal Congress of Green Youth on November 2, 2008 (together with Kathrin Henneberger ) he was elected spokesman for the federal association. In October 2009 he was confirmed in office for another year, and Gesine Agena became the new spokesperson in 2010 . From 2010 to 2012 Löffler was a member of the party council of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen .

Löffler sees his focus on social issues, intergenerational justice, work, economics, finance and civil rights.

Löffler is a founding member of the Solidarity Modern Institute .
