Nikola Maksimović ( Serbian - Cyrillic Никола Максимовић ; born November 25, 1991 in Bajina Bašta , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a Serbian football player . He plays for SSC Napoli and the Serbian national football team .
Career
FK Sloboda Užice
He started his career in 2008 at FK Sloboda Užice . He played with Sloboda in the 2009/10 season in the Serbian League West , one of the four third leagues in Serbia. On June 24, 2010, Sloboda Užice and the second division club FK Sevojno from the district of the same name from Užice merged to Sloboda Point Sevojno Užice. Since the FK Sevojno in the top Serbian league, the Super League , was promoted, Maksimović played with his club in the 2010/11 season in the Super League. In the winter of 2012 he left Sloboda and moved to league rivals Red Star .
FK Red Star Belgrade
In the winter of 2012 he moved to Red Star in Belgrade for a transfer fee of 300,000 euros. He quickly became a regular at Roter Stern. He won the Serbian Cup with Red Star Belgrade . After good performance, he finally moved to Serie A for Turin .
Torino FC
In 2013 he was loaned to FC Turin for a year . After one season, FC Turin pulled the purchase option of 1.25 million euros and signed Maksimović. He signed a contract with FC Turin until 2018. He made his Serie A debut on October 6, 2013 against Sampdoria Genoa . At Turin FC he quickly developed into a regular player.
SSC Naples
On August 31, 2016, the SSC Napoli announced the signing of Maksimović. He changes first on loan with a purchase obligation of 25 million euros.
In January 2018 Maksimović was awarded to Spartak Moscow .
National team
He went through the U-19 and U-21 national teams of the Serbian Football Association. He made his debut for the Serbian senior team on May 31, 2012 against France .
