After the Second World War , Oskar Dimroth was seen at the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe in autumn 1945 as Jedermann and at the end of the year at the same place in Klabund's Der Kreidekreis . He then worked at venues in Heidelberg (here as Zuckmayers Des Teufels General Harras) and in Hamburg , before Dimroth in 1950 accepted Hilpert's call to the German Theater in Göttingen , which he directed . There he took on roles in numerous classical plays such as Lessing's Minna von Barnhelm and several Shakespeare productions . At this time the artist also got one or the other supporting role in Göttingen film productions.
