Osrednjeslovenska
Osrednjeslovenska (German Central Slovenia ), more precisely Osrednjeslovenska regija is a statistical region in Slovenia at NUTS 3 level.
The region intended for statistical purposes was introduced in May 2005. It comprises a total of 26 municipalities. The largest city is Ljubljana. The total area is 2,487 km². The population on January 1, 2014 was 546,314.
In 2015, the Litija municipality was reclassified from the Osrednjeslovenska region to the Zasavska region .
