The Otoyol 5 or O-5 is a Turkish motorway route. It leads from Gebze via Orhangazi to Bursa and from there to İzmir . The motorway will be realized with the build-operate-transfer model . The tender, which also included the bridge over the Gulf of İzmit , was issued in 2009.

An essential part of the highway is the bridge, which has been called the Osman Gazi Bridge since its completion in 2016 .

The 25-kilometer section Çağlayan-Bursa Batı, i.e. the western section of the Bursa bypass (formerly O-33), was opened in the 2000s. The 46-kilometer Altınova-Gemlik section was opened in April 2016. The section that includes the bridge was opened on July 1, 2016.

The entire motorway was opened to traffic on August 4, 2019.
