Pargny-sur-Saulx is a municipality with 1,855 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Grand Est region in north-eastern France on the Saulx , a tributary of the Marne ; it is located about 180 km east of Paris and 100 km southeast of Reims . It belongs to the Marne department and there to the Vitry-le-François arrondissement . The place is best known for its brickworks , which is also reflected in the place's logo, which is often used today. The municipality belongs to the canton of Sermaize-les-Bains (until 2015: canton of Thiéblemont-Farémont ).
