Patrick "Pat" Cannone (born August 9, 1986 in Bayport , New York ) is an American ice hockey player who has been under contract with the Schwenninger Wild Wings in the German Ice Hockey League (DEL) since May 2019 .

Career

Patrick Cannone came to professional ice hockey through the United States Hockey League and college game operations at Miami University , Ohio . In his final college season, he completed his first games for the American Hockey League team Binghamton Senators . There he stayed for two years, later he was active for three seasons for league rivals Chicago Wolves . He was with the organizations Ottawa Senators and later with the St. Louis Blues from the National Hockey League under contract. He made his debut in the NHL when he played for the AHL club Iowa Wild for two years and was also used in three games for the Minnesota Wild .

On July 19, 2018, he agreed on a one-year contract with ERC Ingolstadt , a team from the German Ice Hockey League (DEL). A year later, after collecting 40 scorer points in 59 DEL games for the ERC, he switched to the Schwenninger Wild Wings within the DEL .
