Pavel Královec

Pavel Královec (born August 16, 1977 in Domažlice ) is a Czech football referee .

Career

The engineer, who has headed the matches of the Czech premier league since 2006, has been a FIFA referee since 2005 and has headed the UEFA Cup , Euro 2008 and finally the UEFA Champions League in 2011 . After whistling for SL Benfica against Bayer 04 Leverkusen in February 2013, he was in charge of the second leg of the second leg in the Champions League between Bayern Munich and Arsenal on March 13, 2013 .

In December 2015, UEFA announced that Královec would be one of the 18 referees to be used at the 2016 European Football Championship in France .

Královec is married and has two children.
