Perejaslawka ( Russian Перея́славка ) is an urban-type settlement in the Russian region of Khabarovsk with 8921 inhabitants (as of October 14, 2010).
Perejaslawka is the administrative center of the Rajons Laso within Khabarovsk. It is located on the Kija River .
history
Perejaslawka was founded in 1895 by settlers from the Ukrainian village of Lukaschi near Perejaslaw . Initially, the place was named Serg-Michailowka in honor of the then Governor General of the Amur Region , Sergei Michailowitsch Duchowski . In 1916 the name was changed to Perejaslawka . In 1962 the place received the status of an urban-type settlement. At the time of the Soviet Union there was a furniture factory in Perejaslawka, as well as a vegetable canning factory and a dairy.

Perejaslawka is connected to the Trans-Siberian Railway with Werino station. Long-distance passenger trains operate in the direction of Moscow , Vladivostok and Sovetskaya Gavan . Perejaslawka is also on the M60 trunk road , which connects Vladivostok with Khabarovsk and is part of the transcontinental road connection Vladivostok-Moscow.
Attractions
There is a local museum in Perejaslavka. Numerous rock carvings from the Neolithic Age have been discovered in the vicinity of the village .
