The Perwenstwo FNL 2017/18 was the 26th season of the second highest Russian league in football . The season started on July 8, 2017 and ended on May 12, 2018.

The 20 teams played against each other twice on 38 match days, divided into a first and a second half. The two best clubs were promoted directly to the Premjer-Liga 2018/19 , while the third and fourth were promoted through relegation.

Since Volgar-Gazprom Astrakhan withdrew to the Perwestno PFL, Kuban Krasnodar , as well as Amkar Perm and FK Tosno , both were disbanded from the Premjer League and only four teams rose from the Perwestno PFL, there were no relegated athletes.
