Perwenstwo PFL 2015/16 ↓

The Perwenstwo FNL 2015/16 was the 24th season of the second highest Russian league in football . The season started on July 11, 2015 and ended on May 21, 2016.

mode

The league was increased to 20 teams. These played against each other twice on 38 match days, divided into a first half and a second half. The two best clubs were promoted directly to the Premjer-Liga 2016/17 , while the third and fourth were promoted through relegation. The last three teams were relegated to the Perwenstwo PFL .

Before the season

Spartak Nalchik and Rotor Volgograd withdrew before the season for financial reasons. Alania Vladikavkaz was expelled. Neftechimik Nizhnekamsk , Salyut Belgorod and Anguscht Nazran had descended from the Perwestno FNL.

Torpedo Moscow was relegated from the Premjer League and had refrained from participating in the Perwestno FNL for financial reasons and therefore played this season in the middle zone of the Perventwo PFL.

The six places were replaced by the five zone winners, as well as Zenit Saint Petersburg II , who was the only runner-up of the Perwestno PFL ready to take part in the Perwestno FNL.
