The Perwenstwo FNL 2018/19 was the 27th season of the second highest Russian league in football . The season started on July 17, 2018 and ended on May 25, 2019.

The 20 teams played against each other twice on 38 match days, divided into a first and a second half. With FK Tambow and FK Sochi , the two best clubs were promoted directly to the Premjer-Liga 2019/20 , while the third and fourth were promoted through relegation.

Due to the license refusal for the Premjer League relegated Anzhi Makhachkala and the master of the Pervenstvo PFL Zone East, Sakhalin Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk , the number of relegated members was reduced from five to three. The FK Sibir Novosibirsk , the reserve of Zenit St. Petersburg and the FK Tyumen had to go to the Perwenstwo PFL.

Before the season

Volgar Astrakhan played under an undistributed license in the Perwestvo PFL, South Zone. Kuban Krasnodar was triggered after bankruptcy before the start of the season. The two zone winners Ararat Moscow (center) and Sakhalin Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk (east) were refused a license. Dynamo St. Petersburg moved to Sochi and henceforth called itself FK Sotschi .

Four zone winners were promoted from the Perwenstwo PFL, as well as at the invitation of FK Krasnodar II . This replaced Anzhi Makhachkala , who was transferred from the Premjer League to the Perwenstwo PFL South Zone.

    The third and fourth of the Perwenstwo FNL played against the 13th and 14th of the Premjer-Liga 2017/18 for the qualification for the Premjer-Liga 2019/20 . The first leg took place on May 30, the second leg on June 2, 2019.
