During the NHL Entry Draft 2000 he was selected in the third round by the Pittsburgh Penguins and then moved to the Ontario Hockey League for the Kingston Frontenacs . The playoffs of the same season he spent with the Cincinnati Cyclones in the ECHL .

During the following season he was used in various partner teams of the Bruins and played for the Reading Royals , Augusta Lynx and Trenton Titans . After he had started the 2004/05 season with the Providence Bruins, he left this during the season and returned to his home country. He received a contract with HC Dukla Senica and played for them in the second-class first division . In the summer of 2005, his home club from Skalica signed him, for which he played in the Extraliga until 2007.

Before the 2007/08 season he was committed by Chimik-SKA Nawapolazk from the Belarusian extra league , which he left after a year and spent a season at Kaszink-Torpedo Ust-Kamenogorsk .

From the 2009/10 season he was under contract with HC Oceláři Třinec and won the President's Cup and the Czech championship with this in the 2010/11 season . From 2013 he was used several times at various clubs in the second-rate first division.
