The 2002/03 season was the 15th regular season of the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL). The 27 teams completed 72 matches each in the regular season . The team with the highest points in the regular season were the Toledo Storm , while the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies won their first ever Kelly Cup in the play-offs .
Team changes
The following changes were made before the start of the season:
- The Mobile Mysticks stopped playing.
- The New Orleans Brass stopped playing.
- The Macon Whoopee were relocated to Lexington , Kentucky , and from then on played under the name Lexington Men O'War .
